Not sure if you'll see this, but just wanted to let you know that I'm happy you still have a newfound fondness for this side of yourself, for pony, after my screw up of things. I understand now that a friendship of mine a couple months before that had similarly fallen through, had caused me to latch on to new people really really hard. I suppose I tried to fill the void by any means necessary, and that wasn't fair to you or Pxy. Apart from that, seemingly for years now, I've been really terrible at keeping my attachment towards others in check. I get attached to people really really easily, and really really strongly. I certainly don't mean to excuse my actions. It's something I've had to come to terms with. I've been trying to work on that aspect of myself since I showed my entire heart on my sleeve to you two, and basically dumped all my feelings at once. You're totally within in the right for how you handled the situation. I see that now, as I also saw it shortly after what happened. I will respect your wish for no contact, and leave it at that. But I still enjoyed our time together, and I hold no resentment. If you ever wish to reach out, I'll be here. Thanks for everything Loopie. I wish you the best.

It's so important Pony was lightning in a bottle and the hype had a limited lifetime but that's something that makes it precious. Drifting away from it is normal, I still have links to it (and still go to some UK cons for reasons) still love the characters and the friends made along the way but it's been a long time since it was my life. But it's fine and normal to move on, with furry being a very common next step. How and why you do it can be very unique and very personal. Love ya <3

You didn't have to make it sound so nostalgic😭 I joined the fandom around 2014 and it wasn't through the show itself, but rather fun content. And even at that point i felt regret that i wasn't there for things that came out earlier. By that time there were already people who left the fandom. It's a shame that i missed that. I didn't even watch the show until some time later. Not gonna lie. i'm not the biggest fan of it, but it was fun to discuss the episodes as they were coming out. I watched content and it was really great, talked to people online. But i never made any real friends. And i was a broke schoolkid, then a broke student and i live too far away from all the IRL stuff happening. That i knew about at least. And i lost interest around 2020 as well. Still, i feel nostalgic for those times and the things that were made in that time. So that at least means that it's an important part of my life. Yeah, anyway... Have fun with where you are right now.

Speaking as someone who was only a fan of your work, it is lovely to hear from you again and that you're still doing okay! I know for me I've been tempted to move on from this fandom too, though I've been hesitant to do so for a lot of different reasons. I hope you keep doing what you love and learning more about yourself, even if I may not get a chance to see any of it. (I checked for the twitter you mentioned but didn't find it lmao) As a quick aside, it's always great to hear that VRChat was a positive influence since personally, Getting into VRChat is something I've always wanted to do but have never justified for various reasons... I think I might just jump the gun and get a quest now tbh. I have an Index but there's just so many problems with that setup I never get to use it. I'll be getting a 5 day weekend soon though so I can use it to enjoy a new quest! :D

I personally don't really follow PMV stuff recently, because it's just kinda drained out, many creators went inactive or just moved on from the fandom, but I still appreciate all the old videos that gave me so many good feelings and memories those years back, including your works too. Hey Loopie! It's good to hear from you. I actually was thinking about reaching out to you and saying hi, maybe a week or two ago. I'm so glad that you've made so many lovely friends and have been living your life to the fullest! The tonal shift you described, in terms of not being saddened by the numbers going down, is pretty much exactly what I've felt lately. I used to be obsessed with popularity, getting really excited to see my subscriber and follower count go up, and also feeling terrible for making almost no pony content in the past several years. But I've kinda.... lost interest in social media, and I don't really feel passionate about making pony stuff anymore. But MLP is still a treasured place in my heart, and I love the friends that I spoke to at any and all points in my journey. I do still speak with some of them! And I want to reach out to more, to see how they're doing. I've been wanting to join VRC more, to talk to my friends who've moved on there, but I've been pretty bad at setting aside the time to hop on. I'll give it a try when I can, after I've moved into my new apartment in a few weeks! 😊

While many of us originally followed you for you pony content, which was amazing, it wasn't just the content that we loved. We love you! Whatever path you take, if you ever post here again, we will love you. The brony fandom was an amazing time but it ought not be your only passion. The fandom inspired me to pursue writing music as a hobby and now I'm finally ready. You inspired us all in the community. Now go express yourself to the rest of the world.

You were not lost. You wandered from the path you knew you'd stray from, but not the way you wanted. That's the beauty of letting yourself mindlessly go wherever you felt was needed. The difference between you and some others is you wanted to at all. Others don't want to. You introducing me to VRchat New Years Eve of 2020 was the most important choice I have made, probably ever.
